A general maintenance of a Hamilton diluter/dipsenser (series ML500) takes about 2 hours and includes:

  • Putting into operation and checking for wear and tear.
  • Disassembly of housing and electronic components, cleaning, visual inspection of syringe drive (spindle, ball bearings, belt, light barriers), adjusting belt, lubricate all moving parts.
  • Assembly of housing and checking as stand alone device (load and running methods fromt the hand controller), checking prime/step switch.
  • Pickup/dispense liquids and checking for leaks


It is possible that while maintaining the instruments, broken parts has to replaced. This is a repair service and not a maintenance service. We will then contact you first to inform you about the additional costs. Spare parts are not included in the costs of the maintenance service.
